In
order to process your application, we require the following:
- Government Issued Photo Identification for every member 18 years or
older
- Social Security card for all members of household
- Birth Certificates for all members of household
- Proof of Enrollment for any Education and any Financial Assistance
documents.
- Income Verification (The 4 most current paystubs for all members
employed, SS / SSI Awards Letter, Child Support payments received,
Families First Awards Letter, Food Stamp Awards Letter, etc...). You must have a
source of income in order to be eligible for housing. If you do not have a
source of income, please contact the office at (423) 272-8540 for
further information.
- Proof of Custody for any minor children.
Pet Application must be submitted along with Vet Records showing Rabies
and Distemper shots are current and proof of spay / neuter.

Residents must agree to home inspections, monthly Pest Control
services, and any other inspections deemed necessary during occupancy.
Once
the initial online application is completed, you will be contacted by
RHA staff to schedule an appointment to provide the necessary
verification and sign all applicable release forms. Please note, after
the RHA Staff contacts you to schedule an appointment or request
documents, you will have 14-days to respond or your application will be
made "inactive" and you will not be placed on the waiting list.
All
adult members (18 years and older) must attend the application
appointment. RHA will also review rental history, criminal history, and
credit history of household members.
RHA
has instituted a smoke-free policy. This policy prohibits the use of
tobacco products in all living units, indoor common areas,
administrative offices, maintenance and community buildings, and all
outdoor areas within 25 feet of housing and administrative buildings.
